Black Sabbath - 43e anniversaire

Le 13 février marque une date importante dans l'histoire du heavy metal. Il y a 43 ans, voyait le jour un des plus célèbre album de ce genre musical. L'album éponyme du quatuor anglais Black Sabbath, paru en 1970, demeure un classique du genre, même près d'un demi-siècle plus tard.

Ce premier album du groupe a été coté 5 étoiles par le célèbre magazine Rolling Stone, à égalité avec Paranoid. D'une durée approximative de 40 minutes, l'album original contient, entre autres, les pièces "Black Sabbath", "The Wizard", "N.I.B." et "Evil Woman".

Même si l'album a été un succès commercial, il a reçu principalement des critiques négatives lors de sa sortie. Puis, le vent a changé et les mauvais commentaires se sont transformés en éloges, telles que:

"...allait influencer non seulement les groupes métal de l'avenir, mais même le son de Nirvana."

February 13th marks an important date in heavy metal history. 43 years ago, one of the most famous albums of this musical genre was born. The eponymous album from English rock band Black Sabbath, released in 1970, remains a classic of the genre, even nearly half a century later.

This first album from the four-piece received a 5-star rating from famous Rolling Stone magazine, ex aequo with 1971's Paranoid. Running approximately 40 minutes long, the original album features, amongst others, "Black Sabbath", "The Wizard", "N.I.B." and "Evil Woman".

When it was released, even though it was a commercial success, the album got mostly negative reviews from various media. Then, the wind changed and positive reviews and praises appeared, such as:
